JUST LIKE HOME (Dark Side of the Word Podcast)

Book cover of JUST LIKE HOME by Sarah Gailey

Hello, Tartlets and Darksiders! A new book club podcast episode is up on Dark Side of the Word. Join me and Kait as we discuss the supernatural suspense novel Just Like Home by Sarah Gailey.

Vera didn’t have any intentions of coming back home. But, her mom is dying and she has to get the house ready to sell — not that anyone’s going to buy the house of an infamous serial killer. As Vera begins to pack up the house, disturbing childhood memories of her beloved father and his “work” rise to the surface and family secrets start spilling out. Vera’s not in the house long before she’s forced to confront the type of home she grew up in, as well as what kind of adult she’s becoming…

Join me and Kait as we discuss what we loved and loathed about Just Like Home, what theories we have about Vera, and what types of “scary” truly terrifies us.
