Hello, Tartlets and Darksiders! A new book club podcast episode is up on Dark Side of the Word. Join me and Kait as we discuss the sci-fi horror novel Last to Leave the Room by Caitlin Starling.
Even though I hated the first 200 pages of Last to Leave the Room (the fifty-page rule doesn’t apply to book club picks), I ended up giving this book four stars. At least, until I talked to Kait about it.
In this episode, we explore themes of friendship, identity, and the complexities of doppelgangers in Last to Leave the Room. The conversation flows from light-hearted banter to critical analysis, culminating in a reflection on the podcast’s season’s journey and what lies ahead.
